Terms & Service Limitations
Effective September 12, 2026 · Service terms version 2026-09-12
1. Website terms
This website is operated by TrueDraft Dryer Vent Cleaning. Website content is provided for general information about our services and may be updated from time to time. Booking, intake, pricing, and availability remain subject to confirmation.
2. Dryer vent cleaning service
A standard residential dryer vent cleaning may include, as reasonably applicable to the property and access available:
- an initial airflow check at the exterior termination;
- accessing the dryer exhaust connection when needed and reasonably accessible;
- mechanical cleaning of accessible portions of the dryer exhaust duct;
- removal of accessible lint and debris;
- cleaning or checking the accessible exterior termination;
- reconnection of components TrueDraft disconnects during the service; and
- a post-service airflow check and visual confirmation of exterior exhaust operation when reasonably accessible.
Roof exits, stacked or built-in appliances, unusually long or inaccessible vent runs, repairs, replacement parts, animal or nest removal, damaged ductwork, specialty access, and other non-standard conditions may require separate pricing or may be outside the scope of service.
3. Inspection and service limitations
Dryer exhaust systems often contain concealed, enclosed, or inaccessible sections. TrueDraft does not represent that every portion of the dryer, transition duct, permanent exhaust duct, joints, cavities, or termination has been visually inspected. Airflow readings, photographs, and visual observations are informational and reflect only the conditions observable or measurable at the time of service.
Dryer vent cleaning does not constitute an inspection or certification that a dryer or exhaust system is fire-safe, code-compliant, defect-free, or free from all present or future obstructions.
4. Existing conditions and additional work
TrueDraft may stop or decline work if we encounter damaged, disconnected, crushed, unsuitable, inaccessible, or otherwise concerning ductwork or conditions that make the planned service inappropriate or unsafe. If we identify a condition outside the agreed service, we may explain the issue and recommend repair, replacement, specialty service, or another contractor. Additional work will not be performed or charged without customer authorization.
5. Customer authorization
The person authorizing service represents that they are the property owner, an authorized occupant, or otherwise have permission to authorize work at the service address. By approving a work order or service authorization, the customer authorizes TrueDraft to perform the listed service at the listed price and acknowledges these Service Terms & Limitations.
6. Pricing and payment
Standard pricing shown on the website applies to qualifying standard residential work. If unusual access, specialty work, repairs, replacement parts, or other additional charges are needed, TrueDraft will communicate the additional price before proceeding. Payment is due as communicated at booking or completion of service unless otherwise agreed.
7. No fire-prevention guarantee
Cleaning can remove accumulated lint and debris from accessible portions of a dryer exhaust system, but conditions can change after service and other appliance, installation, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, or building conditions may affect safety. TrueDraft does not guarantee prevention of fire, property damage, future lint accumulation, future obstruction, appliance failure, or other future events.
8. Optional SMS messaging program
Customers who separately and affirmatively opt in may receive recurring automated text messages from TrueDraft Dryer Vent Cleaning, including service follow-ups, review requests, referral requests, and future service reminders. Consent to recurring text messages is optional and is not a condition of purchasing or receiving TrueDraft services.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe from recurring TrueDraft messages or HELP for help. After an opt-out request is processed, TrueDraft will stop recurring messages to that number except communications permitted or required to confirm or honor the request. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
The mobile number and consent apply to communications from TrueDraft for the purposes disclosed at opt-in. See the Privacy Policy for information about mobile-data handling.
9. Changes to these terms
TrueDraft may update these terms as services and operations change. The version linked to a customer service authorization at the time it is accepted is the version associated with that authorization. Material changes to the SMS program do not expand a customer's prior messaging consent beyond the scope for which it was given.
10. Contact
